Position Overview

Pediatric Anesthesiologist faculty position at Children's Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs. Full-time role at the rank of Sr. Instructor with the University of Colorado Department of Anesthesiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 100% personal anesthesia care for pediatric cases including surgery, ENT, urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, gastroenterology, and acute pain.
• Perform regional anesthesia as needed.
• Take share of in-house and pager calls.
• Occasional teaching of medical students and fellows.

Qualifications

• ACGME fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology required.
• Board eligible or certified in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology.
• Licensed to practice in Colorado by hire date.
• ACLS and PALS required at hire; ATLS within one year.
• Experience teaching anesthesiology.

Compensation

Starting salary $352,000 with variable pay available up to $213,000 via clinical day equivalent model.
