Position Overview

Community Hospital seeks a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist for a full-time role in Grand Junction, Colorado. The position joins a collaborative team of ten physicians with no CRNA or AA supervision responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $525,000 including call compensation. Additional pay includes quality bonus, deferred compensation, and employer retirement matching up to $50,000 annually. Benefits include 10 weeks PTO, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, student loan repayment options, paid medical malpractice, and annual CME allowance. Hospital employee package applies.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Call covers Level III trauma and labor and delivery with an equally shared, manageable burden designed for work-life balance.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree required. Board certification or eligibility and residency training in anesthesiology required.

Community Hospital is a 60-bed independent acute-care facility serving the Grand Valley. It earned a 5-star CMS rating in 2024 and the Outstanding Patient Experience Award in 2025. The anesthesia service supports nearly twenty surgical specialties plus a busy labor and delivery unit. Two new ORs are under construction.
