Position Overview

Full-time W2 Anesthesiologist position with Mount Nittany Health in State College, Pennsylvania.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $530,000-$560,000
• Annual quality bonus: $20,000
• Sign-on bonus: $50,000 over 3 years
• PTO: 9 weeks
• CME: 1 week plus $3,500 allowance
• Holiday time: 64 hours per year

Practice Details

• Employed group of 11 anesthesiologists and 20+ CRNAs
• CRNA medical direction model
• Coverage at Mount Nittany Medical Center (260 beds) and off-site centers
• 12 ORs plus additional procedure rooms
• Major services: General, GU, OB, Spine, ENT, GYN, Plastic, Ortho, Vascular
• Healthy pediatric cases (mainly ENT)
• No open-heart surgery or neurosurgery

Schedule & Call

Call approximately every 5-6 days with mix of first and second/back-up call.

Facility

Mount Nittany Medical Center is a 260-bed acute care hospital. EMR is Meditech transitioning to Epic in May 2026.

State College, PA is home to Penn State University with access to outdoor recreation, arts, and NCAA sports.
