Position Overview
Pediatric Anesthesiologist position at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh providing anesthesia care for pediatric cases including acute pain, liver transplant, and cardiac.
Schedule and Call
Daylight coverage Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. In-house call 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM and beeper call 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Practice Model
CRNA supervision with 2:1 concurrency target. Hospital has 40 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs.
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology. Fellowship-trained in pediatric anesthesiology. Unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is a 313-bed acute care teaching hospital with 14 operating suites. Academic appointment available.
