Anesthesiologist 2 Weeks On/1 Off | Somerset, PA

Position Overview

Full-time Anesthesiologist position at UPMC Somerset in Somerset, Pennsylvania. Join a team of 3 anesthesiologists and 6 CRNAs at a 111-bed community hospital.

Schedule and Call

Schedule is 2 weeks on/1 week off. First week includes clinical duties with call; second week is clinical. Total of 17 weeks off per year.

Case Mix

Bread and butter cases only. No obstetrics, cardiac, head, or trauma cases. Procedures include gastroenterology, orthopedics, ENT, urology, general surgery, dental, podiatry, GYN, and pain management. Annual caseload of 1200-1500 cases per physician.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible. MD or equivalent degree required. Ability to obtain unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license. J1 and H1B visa sponsorship available.

Compensation

Minimum base compensation of $450,000 with up to $50,000 in extra shifts available. Signing bonus, educational loan repayment, and $10,000 relocation assistance provided. Competitive UPMC benefits package.
