Cardiac Anesthesiologist Faculty | Burlington, VT

Position Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont / University of Vermont Medical Center seeks a Board certified or Board eligible Attending Anesthesiologist with fellowship training in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesia. This is a full-time clinical scholar pathway faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical anesthesiology care in main Operating Rooms and ambulatory areas
• Mix of solo practice and supervision of CRNAs, CAAs and residents
• Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, pediatrics (older than 3), neurosurgery and obstetrics
• Support teaching, research, clinical and administrative missions

Qualifications

• Board certified or Board eligible
• Fellowship training in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesia
• Interest in academic missions

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Full time
• Mix of all anesthesia types
