OB Anesthesiologist Faculty | Burlington, VT

Position Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont seeks a Board certified or Board eligible Obstetric Attending Anesthesiologist for a full-time clinical scholar pathway faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent clinical anesthesia care for peripartum patients and non-obstetric patients in main operating rooms and ambulatory areas. Clinical practice includes solo cases and supervision of anesthesia residents, CRNAs, and CAAs.

Qualifications

Board certified or Board eligible in anesthesiology with interest in clinical care, teaching, research, and administrative missions. Strong interest in supporting the Division of Obstetric Anesthesiology.

UVM Medical Center is a busy academic hospital with a Level-1 trauma center serving Vermont and northern upstate New York. Large collegial department includes Anesthesiologists, Nurse Anesthetists, Anesthesiologist Assistants, residency program, and pain fellowship.
