Position Overview

MedStar Medical Group Anesthesiology seeks Anesthesiologists for full-time positions across hospitals and surgery centers in the Washington, DC metro region, including Maryland and northern Virginia.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range is $505,000 to $535,000 annually. Benefits include multiple health plans, FSAs, annual CME stipend, short and long term disability, student loan forgiveness eligibility, guaranteed 8 weeks paid time off plus holidays, retirement benefits with employer match, paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance, and paid short-term disability with 100% salary continuation.

Practice Details

The group is the largest health system-employed anesthesia practice in the mid-Atlantic region, covering multiple hospitals such as MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, plus several ambulatory surgery centers.

Qualifications

Board certification in anesthesiology is expected for these physician roles.
