Level 1 Trauma Anesthesiologist | Washington, DC

Position Overview

MedStar Medical Group Anesthesiology seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a quaternary care Level 1 trauma center in Washington, DC. The department covers over 40 sites including 30+ ORs, endoscopy, EP lab, and labor and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across general, trauma, neuro, thoracic, vascular, orthopedics, ENT, plastics, oral, GYN, burn, OB, EP, GI, and IR cases. Work in a collaborative care team model with physicians, CAAs, CRNAs, residents, SAAs, and SRNAs.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist. Teaching hospital experience preferred.

MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a Level 1 trauma center and teaching institution serving as a clinical site for SAA and SRNA programs.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range $505,000-$535,000 per year plus competitive bonus and incentive. Guaranteed 8 weeks paid time off plus holidays. Annual CME stipend, license and medical staff fee reimbursement. Schedule & Call Requirements

Day/evening shifts with rotating weekends. Onsite position.
