Position Overview

Hybrid Cardiac Anesthesiologist position at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis, TN. Full-time role with approximately 60% cardiac cases and 40% general anesthesia in a physician-led ACT model.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base compensation $625,000 W2
• $50,000 annual stipend
• $35,000 annual subspecialty stipend

Schedule & Call Requirements

• 48 calls per year (average 1 per week in-house with CRNA)
• Post-call day off
• Non-call-taking full-time M-F option available
• Part-time opportunities available

Practice Environment

• 60% cardiac procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, EVAR
• 40% diverse general surgical cases
• TEE utilization on cardiac cases
• Faculty appointments available

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency completion
• Board certified or eligible in anesthesiology
• TEE certification required
• Experience with open-heart and structural heart procedures
• Cardiac fellowship preferred but not required
• Tennessee medical license eligibility
• DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certification
• No visa sponsorship
