Position Overview

Physician-only Anesthesiologist position at Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center in Suffolk, VA. The role offers a 2 weeks on, 1 week off schedule with very light call.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Case Mix

Cases include ortho, general, urology, plastics, ENT, vascular, and GYN.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution. Completion of Anesthesiology Residency. Board Eligible or Board Certified. Current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.
