Position Overview

Full-time Anesthesiologist position at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. The hospital is a 273-bed Level III Trauma Center and accredited Primary Stroke Center serving Virginia Beach, the Eastern Shore, and Northeastern North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services across heart and vascular care, neurosciences, orthopedics, oncology, and advanced imaging. Work within Sentara Anesthesia Specialists, a group serving more than 15,000 patients annually.

Qualifications

Board certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology required. All physicians in the group are board certified.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range $388,024-$623,917 annually. Shift-based compensation model. Sign-on and commencement bonuses. 10 weeks built-in annual time off. Competitive retirement package with employer matching. Malpractice insurance with tail coverage. $7,500 annual CME allowance. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Schedule & Call Requirements

Rotating shifts. Post-call day off. No second call.
