Position Overview

Per diem CRNA opportunity at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Ft. Myers, Florida. The position is part time with an hourly rate of $150.

Facility Details

Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 624-bed hospital with 22 operating rooms. It is the largest hospital in the Lee Health system and houses the only Level II Trauma Center between Bradenton and Miami. Services include neuroscience, orthopedic, oncology, and cardiology. The facility is an accredited comprehensive stroke center.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate is $150. Malpractice insurance is fully paid.

Schedule & Call Requirements

This is a per diem position.

Case Assignments

Cases include general, endo, ortho, vascular, neuro, GYN, urology, radiology, and ENT.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

Current license as a registered professional nurse. Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education. Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
