Position Overview

Full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologist position in a care team model at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, a 176-bed facility in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

Diverse case mix excluding trauma, burns, and transplants.

Schedule and Call

Call schedule of 1:14 with post-call day off. First shift (days).

Compensation and Benefits

Expected annual compensation of $489,000+ with quality bonus of $15,000. Generous sign-on bonus. 10 weeks paid time off. Annual CME allowance of $7,500. Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability. Two retirement plans with employer contributions. Up to four weeks paid parental leave. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree. Board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology. Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical license. Commitment to high-quality patient-centered care and strong communication skills.
