Position Overview

Sentara Anesthesia Specialists seeks a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist for Sentara Leigh Hospital, a 274-bed Magnet-designated facility and Primary Stroke Center in Norfolk, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, maternity, general surgery, and wound healing services. Support a collaborative team delivering care to over 15,000 patients annually.

Schedule and Call Requirements

Rotating shifts with day off after call and no second call required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range $388,024 to $623,916.80 annually for full-time. Sign-on and commencement bonus. $7,500 annual CME allowance. Malpractice insurance with tail coverage. Retirement package with employer match. Full health benefits. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology. New graduates and fellows considered.
