Position Overview

Sentara Anesthesia Specialists seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for Sentara Leigh Hospital, a 274-bed Magnet-designated facility and Primary Stroke Center in Norfolk, VA.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, maternity, general surgery, and wound healing services. Support a collaborative team delivering care to over 15,000 patients annually.

Schedule and Call

Rotating shifts with day off after call. No second call.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range $388,024-$623,917 annually. Sign-on and commencement bonus. $7,500 annual CME allowance. Malpractice insurance with tail coverage. Robust retirement with employer match. 10 weeks built-in annual time off. Full health benefits. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
