Position Overview

Sentara Anesthesia Specialists seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for Sentara Leigh Hospital, a 274-bed Magnet-designated facility and Primary Stroke Center in Norfolk, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, maternity, general surgery, and wound healing services.

Qualifications

Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology required.

Sentara Leigh Hospital is a 274-bed acute care hospital with Magnet designation for nursing excellence and accreditation as a Primary Stroke Center. It offers the region's only 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range $388,024 to $623,917 annually. Sign-on and commencement bonus. $7,500 annual CME allowance. Malpractice insurance with tail coverage. Retirement package with employer match. Full health benefits. 10 weeks built-in annual time off. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Rotating shifts. Day off after call. No second call.
