Position Overview

Full-time Physician Anesthesiologist position at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a 525-bed tertiary care facility and Level I Adult Trauma Center in Norfolk, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia for general, pediatric, gynecologic, orthopedic, plastic, podiatry, urology, and ENT surgeries. Deliver high-acuity care at a teaching hospital affiliated with Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Qualifications

Board certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology required. All physicians in the group are board certified.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a Magnet-designated hospital and accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center. It includes the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range $388,024 to $623,916.80 annually. Sign-on and commencement bonuses. 10 weeks built-in time off. $7,500 annual CME allowance. Malpractice and tail coverage.
