Lead CRNA | Camden, SC

Position Overview

Lead CRNA position at MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center in Camden, SC. Reports to Director of CRNA Services and collaborates with Anesthesiology Medical Director to oversee day-to-day CRNA operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical anesthesia care
• Promote interprofessional collaboration and manage initiatives
• Plan, organize, facilitate, monitor, and evaluate division activities
• Collaborate on operating procedures and workflows
• Identify improvements to practices and clinical processes
• Hire, empower, and motivate team members

Qualifications

• Graduate of Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
• Master's degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia (for hires after March 1, 2019)
• Current South Carolina APRN license or eligibility
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, orthopedic, and outpatient anesthesia

Practice Model

Anesthesia Care Team with medical supervision. Cases include urology, general surgery, orthopedics, GYN, ENT, endoscopy, and cardioversions. Skills include USGRA, SAB, LE, and central lines.

Schedule

8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts. Separate dedicated night and weekend call staff.
