Position Overview

Pediatric CRNA position at Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital, a level-one academic trauma center in Charleston, SC. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and administer anesthetics following specified methods. Inform physicians of patient condition during anesthesia. Perform pre- and post-anesthesia visits and document notes. Provide care from pre-term neonates to geriatrics. Participate in teaching, continuing education, and resuscitative care.

Qualifications

Graduate of Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs. Certified or recertified by the National Board on Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Master's degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia required for hires after March 1, 2019. Current APRN license or eligibility in South Carolina. BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Schedule

40 hours per week, hourly position. Rotating shifts and overtime may be required.
