Position Overview
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position at MUSC Ashley River Tower, an adult academic facility in Charleston, SC.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and administer anesthetics, monitor patient condition during procedures, perform pre- and post-anesthesia visits, document notes, provide resuscitative care, participate in teaching and continuing education.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program with master's degree or higher (for hires after March 2019), NBCRNA certification, current SC APRN license or eligibility, BLS certification.
Facility Details
Ashley River Tower has 10 operating rooms, 7 endoscopy areas, and 6 heart/vascular and interventional radiology suites. Case mix includes surgical oncology, colorectal, bariatrics, plastics, and occasional vascular/thoracic.
Schedule
40 hours per week, hourly position, eligible for location stipend. Rotating shifts and overtime possible.
