Lead CRNA | Camden, SC

Position Overview

Lead CRNA role at MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center in Camden, South Carolina. Reports to Director of CRNA Services and collaborates with Anesthesiology Medical Director to oversee daily CRNA operations in an Anesthesia Care Team model.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical anesthesia care across vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, orthopedic, and outpatient procedures.
• Manage initiatives, strategic priorities, and program development impacting culture and operations.
• Plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate division activities and employee goals.
• Collaborate on operating procedures, workflows, productivity, patient safety, and quality outcomes.
• Identify improvements to practices and clinical processes.
• Hire and motivate team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs with master's degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia (for hires after March 1, 2019).
• Current APRN license or eligibility in South Carolina.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Insurable by MUSC medical malpractice insurer.

MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center is a 119-bed comprehensive community hospital offering diagnostic, medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and post-acute services as part of the MUSC Health system.

Schedule and Call

8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts with separate dedicated night and weekend call staff. Cases include urology, general surgery, orthopedics, GYN, ENT, endoscopy, and cardioversions. USGRA, SAB, LE, and central lines performed.
