Position Overview

Full-time CRNA or CAA position in pediatric anesthesiology at Children's Hospital Colorado on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO. The role involves providing anesthesia care under medical direction for pediatric surgical and medical procedures across operating rooms, procedure centers, and radiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Record events during anesthesia including vital signs and drug administration.
• Transport patients to PACU and provide reports.
• Maintain progress notes and comply with billing requirements.
• Contribute to teaching as faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Qualifications

New graduates welcome. Requires successful completion of an accredited CAA or CRNA program with active certification. Preferred: 1-2 years pediatric experience or teaching experience in anesthesia.

Facility Details

Children's Hospital Colorado is a 600-bed tertiary care children's hospital with a Level IV NICU and the only Level 1 pediatric trauma center in Colorado. Academic affiliation with University of Colorado School of Medicine. Teaching hospital setting.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary $225,000-$270,000. Annual base plus Level 1 trauma differential $235,000-$290,000. Employer contributes 10% to retirement 401(a) plan. 22 vacation days, 15 sick days, 15 holidays. Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Tuition benefit and ECO Pass available.
