Position Overview

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine seeks board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologists for UPMC Bedford in Everett, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general and pediatric anesthesia care
• Manage a broad variety of adult subspecialty cases

Schedule and Call

• Three-day daylight schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• No call

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology
• Unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania or eligibility

Facility Details

• UPMC Bedford is an acute care general hospital with medical, surgical, obstetrical, intensive care, coronary care, and telemetry services
• CT scan, MRI, lithotripsy, cardiac-pulmonary rehabilitation, outpatient procedure unit, and ambulatory surgical unit
• 24-hour emergency coverage, licensed heliport, trauma center affiliation
• One anesthesiologist and four CRNAs on staff
• Academic appointment available
