Pain Management Anesthesiologist | Fargo, ND

Position Overview

Sanford Health seeks a BE/BC fellowship-trained Pain Medicine or Interventional Spine physician for a full-time outpatient pain clinic position in Fargo, ND. The role accepts candidates with residency training in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or Psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pain management procedures including epidural steroid injections, selective nerve root blocks, and radiofrequency ablations.
• Manage patients with intrathecal pain pumps.
• Oversee medications including non-opioid and select opioid cases.
• Coordinate care through psychology, sleep medicine, physical therapy, integrative health, and nutrition.
• See approximately 1500 patients per month across four procedure rooms.

Qualifications

• Completion of ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine fellowship required.
• Board certification or eligibility in primary specialty and Pain Medicine required within five years of fellowship completion.
• Comfort with broad range of spine procedures.

Schedule and Call

Weekdays only in hospital outpatient department. No call on weekends or evenings.
