Position Overview
Ochsner Lafayette General seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist for a full-time position in Lafayette, LA.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia in a medical direction care team model
- Cover bread and butter cases, orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, urology, women's services, and healthy outpatient pediatrics
- Work across main hospital, community hospital, orthopedic hospital, GI center, surgical hospital, and teaching hospital
Schedule and Call
Nocturnist system eliminates weeknight call. Weekend call is evenly distributed. Internal moonlighting opportunities available.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology required.
Facility Details
Level II Trauma Center with busy emergency department. Multiple facilities include teaching hospital components.
