Position Overview
Ochsner Health seeks BC/BE fellowship-trained Regional Anesthesiologists to join the team in Jefferson, Louisiana. The role focuses on regional anesthesia and acute pain management within the Acute Pain Service and Perioperative Surgical Home.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regional block procedures and supervise residents and fellows.
- Rotate between orthopedic specialty hospital and tertiary-care referral hospital locations.
- Support the fellowship training program.
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Fellowship training or substantive experience in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management required.
Practice Details
Department includes 70 anesthesiologists, 100 CRNAs, and over 45 house staff. Annual case volume exceeds 52,000. Team performs over 6,000 regional blocks per year.
