Position Overview
Ochsner Health seeks a board eligible or board certified anesthesiologist to join the Division of Abdominal Transplant Anesthesia in New Orleans.
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia for liver, kidney and pancreas transplants including liver-kidney, pediatric, split liver and living donor cases. Participate in teaching and clinical care within a department of 80 anesthesiologists and 120 CRNAs.
Qualifications
Board eligible or board certified anesthesiologist required. Prior experience with liver, kidney and pancreas transplants needed. Intraoperative TEE certification or pursuit of certification preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication and teaching skills required.

Ochsner Health System is Louisiana's largest non-profit academic healthcare system with more than 52,000 annual cases. The program is high-volume among U.S. centers and hosted the 2022 International Liver Transplant Society meeting.
