Position Overview
General Anesthesiologist position in the North Shore Anesthesia group at Ochsner Health covering Covington ASC, Slidell East, and Slidell Main.
Key Responsibilities
Coverage includes basic pediatric, obstetric, and cardiac cases. Requires commitment to Epic electronic medical records and collaboration with community and Ochsner surgeons.
Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology. Physicians with experience or directly from training are welcomed.
Facility Details
Ochsner Medical Center - North Shore is a 165-bed acute care hospital with 24-hour emergency room and the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on the North Shore. The broader Ochsner Department of Anesthesiology includes over 70 anesthesiologists, 100 CRNAs, and more than 30 house staff with annual case volume exceeding 52,000.

North Shore program is part of a fully accredited residency program with multiple fellowship programs. Located in a family-oriented community 30 minutes from New Orleans with top-ranked schools.
