Position Overview
Ochsner Health in New Orleans seeks BC/BE fellowship-trained Regional Anesthesiologists to join the expanding Regional Anesthesiology faculty in Jefferson, LA.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff the Acute Pain Service and fellowship training program
- Participate in the Perioperative Surgical Home
- Rotate between orthopedic specialty hospital and tertiary-care referral hospital
- Supervise residents and fellows while performing many own regional block procedures
- Perform over 6000 regional blocks annually
Qualifications
- BC/BE status required
- Fellowship training in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management required
- Substantive experience in regional anesthesia accepted
Facility Details
Department includes 70 anesthesiologists, 100 CRNAs, and more than 45 house staff. Annual case volume exceeds 52000.
