Position Overview

Full-time day shift Anesthesiologist role at Prisma Health in Greer, SC. The physician provides quality medical services including diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease, defects, or injuries.
• Render medical treatment consistent with professional standards.
• Complete accurate and timely medical records using CPT and ICD codes.
• Provide after-hours call coverage equally with other physicians.
• Comply with standards of care, managed care rules, Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards.
• Maintain continuing medical education.
• Participate in non-revenue generating activities, committees, teaching, and research.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Successful completion of residency.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Medical staff privileges.
• Licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina.
• Controlled substance license in South Carolina.
• DEA number.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment.

Schedule

Day shift (United States of America). Shared after-hours call coverage.
