Position Overview

Full-time day shift Anesthesiologist position at Prisma Health in Greenville, SC.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, prevent, or treat disease, defects or injuries and recommend or prescribe treatments.
• Render medical treatment consistent with generally accepted professional standards of care.
• Complete accurate, legible, and timely records using CPT and ICD codes.
• Provide after hours call coverage equally with other physicians.
• Comply with standards of accepted medical practice and payor requirements.
• Maintain continuing medical education.
• Participate in non-revenue generating activities including committees, community outreach, teaching, and research.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Successful completion of residency.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Medical staff privileges.
• South Carolina Medical License.
• South Carolina Controlled Substance License.
• Drug Enforcement Agency Number.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment.
