Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease or injury
• Medical treatment consistent with professional standards
• Accurate and timely medical records using CPT and ICD codes
• Equal after-hours call coverage with practice physicians
• Compliance with managed care and regulatory standards
• Participation in quality assurance, utilization management, and patient education
• Non-revenue generating activities advancing organizational mission including teaching and research

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
• Successful completion of residency
• Board certified or board eligible
• South Carolina medical license, controlled substance license, and DEA number
• Basic computer skills and specialty-specific knowledge

Schedule

Day shift with equal after-hours call coverage.
