Cardiac Anesthesiologist Locum Tenens | York, PA

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity at a major acute care hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

The facility is a 593-bed Level I Trauma Center providing advanced surgical and procedural services.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Regular day shifts run 0700-1700. Overnight beeper call is 1700-0700 with approximately three call shifts per week. Post-call relief is provided the following day or at the first available opportunity.

Compensation

Regular pay is $430 per hour. Night call pay and callback pay are available.

Assignment Details

Initial assignment is 13 weeks with extension potential throughout 2027. Coverage needed for specific dates in November and December 2026, with ongoing full-time opportunities anticipated.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible status accepted. Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ required. ACLS and PALS certifications needed. Two years experience preferred. Credentialing takes approximately 90 days with possible temporary privileges.

593-bed acute care hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Epic EMR. Case mix includes cardiac and complex surgical anesthesia.
