Position Overview

Nemours Children's Health seeks a full-time Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant in Jacksonville, Florida. New graduates are welcome with mentorship in a pediatric environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation
• Select and administer pre-anesthetic medications
• Apply invasive and non-invasive monitoring
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia
• Respond to emergency situations with airway management and ACLS
• Participate in quality assurance activities

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Anesthesiology Assistant program
• Current Florida licensure
• Current certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists with biannual recertification
• AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS required

Schedule and Call

8/10/12/13 hour shifts available. Competitive call rates with in-house shifts receiving call stipend plus post-call day off. Shared holiday coverage.
