Position Overview

Full-time CAA position with US Anesthesia Partners North Florida providing adult anesthesia services across multiple Baptist Hospital Medical Center locations in Jacksonville, Florida.

Practice Details

Anesthetists provide anesthesia for all case types except pediatrics, including obstetric and cardiothoracic options. Supervision ratios are typically 1:3 or 1:4. Spinals and arterial lines are performed. Regional blockade proficiency is not required.

Schedule and Call

Various shifts available including 13s, 12/8s, 10s, and 24/8s. Weekend and weekday call is required but infrequent and taken at home by beeper.

Newly structured competitive compensation package. Sign-on bonus options of $40k, $50k, or $90k. 7 weeks paid time off to start. $2500 CME allowance with in-house CME/ACLS recertification. 401k matching and profit-sharing. Services provided at Baptist Hospital Medical Center Jacksonville, South, Beaches, and Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute. Baptist Hospital Medical Center Jacksonville features 35 operating suites and performs approximately 18,000 procedures annually. The system includes an award-winning interventional stroke program, robust neurosurgical program, and partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Qualifications

Must meet state licensure requirements and complete hospital credentialing for assigned facilities.
