PRN CRNA | Manning, SC

Position Overview

PRN CRNA position at McLeod Health Clarendon in Manning, SC. Reports to Director of Anesthesia and Medical Director of the O.R. Works with surgical staff to ensure patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled, urgent, and emergent surgeries.
• Obtain pre-operative patient history and explain anesthesia plans.
• Visit patients post-operatively and manage care after procedures.
• Respond to calls for airway maintenance and life support.
• Provide instruction to student nurse anesthetists.
• Maintain professional image and follow service excellence standards.

Qualifications

Graduate from approved school of Nursing with current SC RN license. Graduate from AANA-accredited Nurse Anesthesia program. Successful completion of AANA certification examination and compliance with recertification criteria. Current SC recognition as CRNA.

Schedule

PRN as needed. New graduates encouraged to apply and will be considered if from accredited Nurse Anesthesia school. Must perform all areas of anesthesia and work with anesthesiologists on variety of cases.
