Position Overview

Full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute within the University of Miami Health System in Miami, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and document anesthesia notes.
• Review medical history, evaluate patients, and determine proper anesthesia methods.
• Perform or evaluate diagnostic tests such as radiographs and EKGs.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage airways using techniques including intubation and mechanical ventilation.
• Respond to emergency situations with airway management and advanced life support.
• Develop anesthesia care plans and administer local, intravenous, or spinal anesthetics.

Qualifications

Master's degree in relevant field. Florida CRNA license required. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required. Minimum 2 years experience preferred. New graduates with at least 2 years clinical experience considered.

Compensation & Benefits
