Position Overview

Lead CRNA position at Wetzel County Hospital providing anesthetic care for all patient types and procedures. The role includes clinical anesthesia administration and leadership duties such as staff coordination, hiring input, performance reviews, and orientation oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures.
• Manage airway, IV access, invasive monitoring, and regional techniques.
• Document patient status and ensure equipment safety.
• Coordinate breaks, case assignments, and staffing needs.
• Advise on hiring and retention; conduct performance appraisals and coaching.
• Support orientation and professional development of staff and students.

Qualifications

• Current RN and APRN licensure in West Virginia.
• Board certified or recertified by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a CRNA.
• Leadership qualities and competence in all anesthetic cases.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
