Position Overview

Independent model CRNA position at St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon, WV. This full-time role provides anesthetic care for all types of patients and procedures in cooperation with supervising or medically directing physicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient responses during surgery and procedures.
• Maintain patient safety, airway management, and infection control.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and select appropriate agents and techniques.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence for general, regional, and monitored anesthesia cases.
• Document patient status and handle controlled substances per policy.
• Assist with teaching newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs.

Qualifications

• Current West Virginia RN licensure or applicable state licensure.
• Board certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. May require call, nights, weekends, or holidays.
