Position Overview

This full-time CRNA position provides anesthetic care for all types of patients and procedures in cooperation with supervising or medically directing physicians. The role operates under Department of Anesthesiology standards and hospital policies at a non-academic facility requiring high-volume, rapid-pace work.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Registered Nurse and APRN (Nurse Anesthetist) in West Virginia
• Board Certified or Recertified by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain excellence in airway management using all adjuncts
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and select anesthetic agents and techniques
• Administer anesthesia including general, regional, and monitored cases
• Monitor patient response and manage induction, maintenance, and emergence
• Document patient status and perform safety checks on equipment
• Participate in surgical pause and informed consent processes
• Provide resuscitative care and manage post-operative patients
• Assist with teaching newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, SRNAs, and medical students

Schedule

40 hours per week with varied shifts.
