Position Overview

This full-time Academic CRNA role at WVU Medicine combines clinical anesthesia practice with academic responsibilities in the WVU School of Nursing DNP Nurse Anesthetist Program.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical duties include providing anesthetic care for all patient types and procedures, monitoring patients, managing airway and invasive lines, and responding to emergencies. Academic duties include graduate-level instruction, simulation teaching, student advising, DNP project mentoring, curriculum development, and committee service.

Qualifications

Master's degree required. Active CRNA certification by NBCRNA. Unencumbered West Virginia APRN license or eligibility. Three to five years clinical CRNA experience. Academic education experience preferred.

Schedule

40 hours per week with varied shifts. Call or nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
