Position Overview

Locum tenens anesthesiologist position in Houston, Texas, from November 1, 2026, through April 18, 2027, for 24 weeks.

Schedule and Call Requirements

Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, 10-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia across trauma, cardiac, ENT, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, pulmonary, general surgery, urology, bariatrics, and Level III NICU cases. Supervise 1 to 3 operating rooms in a collaborative care team model. Support weekday coverage and participate in scheduled call.

Qualifications

Board eligible or board certified in anesthesiology. One or more years of experience preferred; strong new graduates may be considered. Comfort supervising CRNAs within a care team model. Ability to manage a broad range of surgical and specialty cases.

Compensation

Weekly estimated pay $3,050 to $3,550. 1099 contract position.
