Position Overview

Locum tenens anesthesiologist position in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Two openings available starting 10/01/2026 for a 14-week duration.

Schedule and Call Requirements

12-hour day shifts. One opening supports a full-time weekday schedule. The other provides PRN coverage for vacations and short-staffing needs.

Compensation

Estimated weekly pay $2,830 to $3,300. 1099 contract position.

Job Requirements

MD or DO degree. Completion of an approved anesthesiology residency. Board certification or fellowship required. Current physician license required. At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience required. Ability to supervise CRNAs.

Responsibilities

Provide general anesthesiology coverage that may include general surgery, neuroanesthesia, orthopedics, and pediatrics. Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, induce and maintain anesthesia, monitor patients, and collaborate with surgical teams.
