Position Overview

Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists seeks a BC/BE Anesthesiologist for a part-time role at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The position offers a compressed Monday through Friday week on/week off schedule with only four weekend shifts per year.

Practice Details

Bread-and-butter anesthesia practice with no cardiac, trauma, or acute pediatric cases. Care team model supports eight sites daily across seven operating rooms plus Labor and Delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive compensation package. $75,000 sign-on and commencement bonus prorated by FTE. Malpractice coverage with tail insurance. $7,500 annual CME allowance prorated by FTE. Retirement plan with employer matching. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Schedule

Rotating shifts with predictable week on/week off pattern and minimal weekend requirements.
