Position Overview

Part-time BC/BE Anesthesiologist position at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC. Employed role with compressed Monday through Friday week on/week off schedule.

Schedule and Call Requirements

Only four weekend shifts per year. No cardiac, trauma, or acute pediatric cases.

Practice Details

Care team model supporting eight sites daily. Seven operating rooms plus Labor and Delivery. Bread-and-butter anesthesia practice.

Compensation and Benefits

$75,000 sign-on and commencement bonus prorated based on FTE. $7,500 annual CME allowance prorated based on FTE. Malpractice coverage with tail insurance. Retirement plan with employer matching. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Elizabeth City, NC offers coastal community access to boating, fishing, and the Outer Banks beaches. Approximately 45 minutes from Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
