Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Case Assignments

Endo, general, labor and delivery, radiology, ortho, electrophysiology, GYN, vascular, neuro, URO, cardiac, thoracic, ENT, and plastics.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: W2 per diem - $280/hour / 1099 - $295/hr

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a 350-bed regional medical center with 13 surgical suites, a 30-room intensive care unit, and the area's first cardiothoracic surgery program. It includes a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and serves the Mid-Hudson Valley.
