Position Overview
Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist role in Potsdam, New York, for a 26-week assignment from November 4, 2026, to May 5, 2027.
Schedule and Call Requirements
Scheduled clinical coverage plus assigned weekday and weekend call. Weekday call runs 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend call runs Friday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM. 10-hour shift pay protection applies when scheduled. Callback paid at premium OT rate. Early release does not reduce pay protection.
Case Mix
General anesthesia, OB anesthesia and epidurals, scheduled surgical cases. Potential CRNA supervision. Approximately 10-15 patients per day. Epic EMR.
Requirements
Board Certified preferred, Board Eligible considered. Active New York medical license required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and AHA or RQI certifications required. Epic experience required. Emergency privileges available. Residents and fellows cannot be accepted.
Compensation and Benefits
