Position Overview
Hospital-employed Anesthesiologist position in Bronx, NY with a team of 11 full-time anesthesiologists and 2 part-time CRNAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Diverse case mix including general, ENT, ortho, neuro, spine, trauma, and OB anesthesia
- Split practice: 40% independent cases and 60% supervision at a 1:2 ratio
- Only 4 required calls per month with additional call earning extra pay
- Three physicians on call each night allowing for rest during shifts
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible candidates considered; DEA required. Residents rotate through offering academic exposure without writing or publishing requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation ranging from $425,000, $650,000 annually with performance-based bonuses available.
Schedule & Call Requirements
Only 4 required calls per month; additional call earns extra pay. Three physicians on call each night.
