Cardiac Anesthesiologist | White Plains, NY

Position Overview

Full-time cardiac anesthesiologist position at White Plains Hospital Center in White Plains, NY. The role supports a busy hospital-based practice with a diverse case mix including general, OB, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatrics, neuro, and ortho cases. No transplant or trauma cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases in brand new operating rooms
• Pre-anesthesia assessment and patient consent verification
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring physiological condition and performing clinical interventions
• Assisting in directing and coordinating Anesthesia Department activities

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from accredited medical college
• Completion of approved anesthesia residency
• Current physician license
• ECFMG and FLEX certification as applicable

Practice Details

Care team model with 45 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs covering 41 anesthetizing locations daily. Night float anesthesiologist for labor and delivery. Efficient peel-off system with low call frequency.

Compensation & Benefits
